We are a graphic arts company founded in 1983 by Francisco Calvo, passionate about the graphic industry as a key factor in the evolution of culture and in the construction of a society with equal opportunities.
We specialize in offering the highest quality in comprehensive prepress, printing and binding services for books, magazines, brochures, commercial catalogs, art catalogs and other special works, in unbeatable delivery times.
Our maxim is to offer the best service to the client, through simple lines of communication and the maximum versatility and adaptability to their needs, in jobs of great complexity and volume, with optimal quality and the best delivery times. Our motto is that “if you can imagine it, we can create it.”
In Comgrafic we join one of the biggest challenges facing the industry and society: sustainability and planet conservation.
We have an FSC® certification that certifies that the paper used comes from sustainably managed forests according to the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council®. This council includes sustainable forest management measures with the aim of promoting environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management. On the other hand, we use eco-friendly offset plates conveniently optimized to reduce the production of waste and chemicals, thanks to Arkana’s intelligent processing technology. Likewise, the use of UV-curable inks in some of our jobs ensures printing processes with a lower environmental impact, by reducing Volatile Organic Components (VOC).
We believe that one of the pillars that provide a fair society in which everyone has the same opportunities is mainly achieved by offering the same cultural possibilities. From this need arose our social work, in which we collect reading material that is no longer used and is donated in solidarity, to later make it reach those who need it most.
From this project, other initiatives arose such as the sale of these donated books during the days of Sant Jordi to support humanitarian projects such as Africa Stop Malaria, which fights to prevent malaria in Gambia and Senegal. We also regularly provide reading material to the Reus Llibres Solidaris and Fundació Roure libraries, which sell second-hand books to fund social projects such as food banks.
On the other hand, we sponsor sociocultural events and initiatives such as the Girls Bike Weekend with the aim of supporting women’s sports and thus promoting the values of equality that characterize Comgrafic, where 50% of the executive team is composed of women.
